A musician’s life blood is….well their music. Its how we are remembered, and its the representation of our hopes and dreams, feelings and emotions. No matter who the person (or people) are, professional or amateur, mainstream or indie, someone who is just starting out, or someone who has been performing and writing for years, a musician gains a form of immortality through their writing. That’s how we ensure that we don’t become “just a statistic”, and it really gets under my skin when I see people who just disrespect all the time, work, and heart we put into our craft. Its one thing to not be a fan of an artist or a certain genre of music, but its another to curse, disrespect, and disgrace someone because you don’t agree with certain personal choices that they made, or to just forget everything they have done because someone has passed. Music is something I take very seriously, and it should be cherished.
*Music displays whats inside a person’s soul. Its transcends simple words and it conveys feelings and emotions that can’t be expressed through simple communication.
